Herbal Alternatives to Consider

Despite the fact that dengue fever is so prevalent in many countries, there is a distinct lack of research into specific dengues cures that could save many lives and stop the spread of the epidemic. Currently, most efforts do focus on prevention, but even those are sometimes seen to wax and wane.

Interestingly enough, over the last few years there have been two alternatives of a herbal variety that have come into the spotlight.

First among these is the Gatas Gatas weed (or sometimes called Tawa Tawa), whose roots are boiled into a concoction that the dengue fever patients can consume. Primarily used in the Philippines, many have testified that dengues cures in this form are very effective.

It should be noted that Gatas Gatas has been held to purportedly cure many other ailments as well, such as asthma, fevers, snake bites, and even skin disease.
