To address such fears, Manny Pacquiao now spars with boxers that are tall and southpaws like De la Hoya. Feedback says that Pacquiao is holding very well. On the other hand, De la Hoya is using the trainer of Juan Miguel Marquez, the only fighter that Pacquiao had difficulty defeating.
In my objective opinion, Pacquiao will remain much faster and a lot more agile than Oscar De la Hoya. However, Oscar will have the upper hand in terms of reach, height and power. It is widely believed that all he needs is one left hook and the small Pacquiao will be knocked down.

Viewing it from a business perspective, Diaz is investing, knowing that that lower income today will mean much bigger purses if he shall triumph The man is evidently thinking way beyond the upcoming fight.
What strategy can this column dish out for the Pac? For starts, he should test his opponents punch absorption capacity. If Manny Pacquiao thinks that he KO David Diaz he should go for it after softening him up a bit with head and body combinations. If its not possible he should dance his way around Diaz and keep scoring points to win the bout with a convincing unanimous decision.
